On Sunday, we were invited to the press event of The Tiger who Came to Tea, showing at Theatre Royal Haymarket.
We decided to make a family day of it and took all three girls along, and I’m so glad we did because it was absolutely brilliant!
The girls have always loved the book, and we visited the Discovery Story Centre earlier this year which had The Tiger who came to Tea theme, so to see the show live on stage was just incredible.
The actors really engaged with the audience, making it so much fun for all the family. The girls were up out of their seats singing and dancing along. Even Raya, who just turned one, was glued to the stage mesmerised by Tiger.
It was our first time at this venue, and it was absolutely stunning. The inside architecture and decor was beautiful.
Running Time: Approx 55 minutes (no interval)
Venue: Theatre Royal Haymarket
Address: Theatre Royal Haymarket, Haymarket, London (nearest tube Piccadilly Circus).
We were also lucky enough to meet the cast after the show and have our photo taken, which included Sophie, her mummy and the tiger.
If you’re looking for something to do with the kids over the Christmas period, I cannot recommend this show enough.
It’s playing daily right up until January 19 2020, definitely check it out before it’s too late!
