Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour Review

Bong bing boo, bing bong bing.. Bing bong, bingly bungly boo. If you’re a parent, who’s kids are Peppa pig fans, you will definitely know this song!

We were invited down by Brigits Bakery to experience the Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London. Taking in the best views of Central London, the bus will take you past some of the most famous London landmarks in including Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and more. Unfortunately for us, due to traffic and road closures we never got to visit Buckingham Palace, but it didn’t take away from our experience.

The Afternoon tea is set up on a fully refurbished 1960s London routemaster bus, decorated in bright colours, every peppa pig fans dream.

The Bus Tour begins outside Somerset House on Victoria Embankment, and this is also the drop off point. A member of staff checks you in and you board the bus from front to back. The staff are super friendly and offer exceptional service throughout. They make the experience really enjoyable. They honestly couldn’t do enough for us, and offered refillable drinks. We chose coffee and the girls chose hot chocolate!

The Afternoon Tea Menu:

Unfortunately, they are unable to cater for: nut-free, peanut-free, combination of dairy & gluten-free, combination of vegan & gluten-free and Coeliacs. Vegan and gluten free teas are £3 extra and they ask that you specify requirements upon reservation.

You’re provided with a guided animated tour, visible on special tablets located on each table. The ride consists of sing-a-long songs and activities all while enjoying a little feast of finger sandwiches, mini cupcakes, scones and lovely cakes. The food was absolutely amazing, so so delicious! Each child also receives an activity book and Peppa pig cup, which they are allowed to bring away with them!

Halfway through the Tour the staff came around with warm scones, cream and jam. They were so good!! They went down a treat with my coffee.

Our Thoughts

We had a brilliant day on board The Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour. The staff were amazing and the service was incredible. The food was absolutely delicious, with so much attention to detail! The price is on the more expensive side, which may not be suitable with families with more than one child. But it would certainly make for a special treat or occasion such as birthdays etc!

I took a look at their website and noticed they are also offering Halloween and Christmas Bus Tours this year, how exciting! They have slightly different sightseeing landmarks and the drop off is from London Victoria Coach Station.

Press Trip/We were gifted tickets of this tour for the purpose of this review. As always, opinions are honest and my own.
