As a family of 5, we love our days out. Adventures and travelling are our favourite things to do! After our day out at The Postal Museum, we were invited to stay at the relatively new Yotel London for the night and it was amazing!
We were greeted by a friendly member of staff, who checked us in and gave us all the hotel info.
We headed up to our room and all I can say is WOW! We we’re situated on the 7th floor in the VIP Suite which is perfect for families as it has has a separate lounge area, with the sofa bed turning into a double bed.
The room was absolutely immaculate which is a big factor for me when staying in a hotel. It was completely spotless, and the decor was modern and funky. Even though the cabin rooms are tightly packed, it was really spacious, giving us plenty of room to move around. The one thing they could benefit from, would be plug sockets closer to bed to allow for phone charging.
We had the most amazing Queen adjustable SmartBed, luxury bed-linen, refreshing rain shower, and HD smart TVs. The rooms, known as “cabins”, range from single occupancy to family-friendly suites for four. You can check them out here
The view was also incredible. It overlooked some of London’s most iconic skyline such as The Shard and St Paul’s Cathedral.
There was even a Nespresso machine, which is heaven for a coffee lover like me!
An important feature, the remotes were bagged with a COVID CLEAN sticker. This was amazing given the current situation. You can read more about their #SmartStay here.
The bathroom was also amazing. There was a separate toilet and shower, which had a rain feature. There was also a double sink and plenty of space! I loved how modern it was. We also had plenty of towels available

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Yotel London Clerkenwell. It was just over a ten minute walk from The Postal Museum, and situated in a fantastic location. It is so reasonably priced for a hotel with such a fantastic location close to central London. ( The VIP suite rates from £140 a night ). The rooms are simple, modern and stylish. It’s exceptionally comfortable and clean, it still smells brand new!
The staff were friendly and all guidelines were explained with a super efficient check in. It’s the first time we’ve had a staycation in our hometown city of London and it was so much fun, we cannot wait to return!
