Afternoon tea delivered to your door – a great idea for a special friend or simply to enjoy yourself.
I was sent this amazing Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea from the award winning Pigelts Pantry. It was the perfect selection of freshly made sweet and savoury treats. It was an afternoon tea for 2, so I shared it with my mum and it was delicious!
The Afternoon Tea was beautifully packaged in a Pink box, ready to be enjoyed. Tuck into delicious cheese and chive quiches, classic sausage rolls, Scotch eggs and a delicious selection of cakes and scones topped with cream and jam.
Afternoon Tea Menu
The Afternoon Tea box can be enjoyed hot or cold. It included an instruction sheet explaining how to heat up the Quiche, sausage rolls and quiche. Really simple, ranging from 10-15 minutes. I heated up, so they were just warm and they were delicious! The sausage rolls were definitely my favourite!
I have a sweet tooth, so I was most looking forward to the cakes and they certainly didn’t disappoint! The carrot cake was amazing. It was moist and so tasty and lucky there was two so I didn’t have to share. The scones were of a medium size and I also heated up slightly in the oven. We had a pot of clotted cream and jam each, so there was plenty to enjoy. I’m definitely a cream then jam kind of girl!
For an afternoon tea, delivered by post, I was super impressed. It was wonderfully presented and tasted really fresh. The hot savoury treats made a change from the standard sandwiches, which definitely made it more enjoyable.
